Use myfyp to share recommendations from your personal YouTube home feed. myfyp stores only the parsed recommendation snapshot needed to render a share page. Each snapshot has a 7-day lifetime and includes a private remove link for immediate deletion.

Install and Use

Option 1: Firefox Extension

  1. Open the official Firefox Add-ons page.
  2. Click Add to Firefox and confirm the install prompt.
  3. (Optional) Pin the extension in Firefox toolbar for quick access.
  4. Open YouTube Home, open the extension popup, and click Upload Snapshot.

Option 2: Chrome Extension

  1. Open the official Chrome Web Store page.
  2. Click Add to Chrome and confirm the install prompt.
  3. (Optional) Pin the extension in your browser toolbar for quick access.
  4. Open YouTube Home, open the extension popup, and click Upload Snapshot.

Option 3: Userscript

  1. Install Tampermonkey (or another userscript manager).
  2. Open and install the userscript.
  3. Open YouTube Home.
  4. Use your userscript manager action myfyp: Upload Snapshot.
  5. Open the returned share link to view the rendered snapshot.
